You're my second favorite author in the whole world

You're my second favorite author in the whole world. No offense, but I have another favoriter author that I like a lot. It's called Henry and Mudge. I like the part when the earthquake happened because of all the smoke and explosions. I was thinking, "Why do you do this? You know that blowing it up will just cause the fire to go because if you blow it by setting it off with a match, maybe it could blow up before you could get away or it could blow up the buildings before you could get away, and crash all the lamps and make the building explode."

What I like best about this book is that they completed the mission with barely knowing at first that they were about to complete the mission. It was actually pretty funny because Jack and Annie were like, "Okay, we'll just lend you this and then walk away," and a few minutes later, "Wait, Okay! Thanks for something to lend!"

Scary, sad, but wonderful book

This book is the best in the series, but I can't wait until "Christmas In Camelot". But still, this book was tremendously good. Why it was good was because of what happened in the end. Also, it's a cool idea to have Mary Pope Osborne (Aunt Mary, as said in the story) and her two sons, Andrew and Peter, with her. I just think that there's nothing like it. There are some really neat parts at the end, as well, like visiting Morgan's library. Well, this book was the best and I'm not telling you anymore. It's too good to spoil, except I can tell you that this is such a great learning book it could be a documentary movie. This is undoubtley one of Mrs. Osborne's best, and it will be your best, too. Highly reccomended for any Magic Tree House fan. Enjoy!!!!!!!

If you only pick one, pick this one! The absolute best...

Whenever someone asks me which book on Numerology to buy, this is the one I recommend, without question. It is the absolute best reference book on the subject I have ever read, and I've been practicing Numerology since the mid-80s.
Javane and Bunker put their information together in an easy to understand format, cover the basics, explain calculation and theory, and then expand from there to more esoteric topics. You can read this book on a lot of levels, gleaning from it more and more each time you read it. It covers advanced topics such as Kabbalah and Old Testament theories, and shows the correspondence between the numbers and the Tarot and Astrology.
All in all this is a marvelous book, don't hesitate to special order it, it's well worth the wait!

Simply the best...

I am a bit prejudiced about this book, because back in the eighties I gave a seminar on numerology and astrology in the tarot in Salem, Mass. and the authors of this book were among the distinguished speakers. Both were kindly and erudite and yet very humble about their brilliant accomplishment. I recommend this book to all my students at Santa Fe Community College, where I teach the psychic crafts. It is, as others have said, truly a "bible," since it combines all the elements: numerology, astrology, tarot...with each card analyzed. Mostly, however, in a very simple, straightforward way, it introducesthe fascinating craft of numerology. I can honestly say I learned numerology from this book, and use it in my readings all the time. My gratitude to the authors.

Learning about numerology

This book is very insightful, however I was really hoping it would have provided a little more meaning for what each individual number means. That is the only issue I have with this book. The rest of the book is more about how your personal numbers translate to the rest of your life, and different ways to read yourself. It provides a wide range of numerology that I have yet to study but now that I have this book, I'm planning to.

Handiest textbook ever!

I bought this book shortly before I graduated from PT school and now two years out I find myself still referring to it. It has great guidelines since a lot of physicians do not include protocols when they refer their patients to our office. I found it very in depth but I like the summary charts which are very easy to follow. I also found it very comprehensive and have yet to come across a surgical procedure that is not covered in this text. It is definitely a great investment and many other therapists also frequently borrow it from me.

Classroom-tested at the University of Georgia by Dr. David Radcliffe, this volume includes numerous examples and homework problems. It provides students with access to the HYDRUS-1D program as well as the Rosetta Module, which contains large volumes of information on the hydraulic properties of soils. The authors use HYDRUS-1D for problems that demonstrate infiltration, evaporation, and percolation of water through soils of different textures and layered soils. They also use it to show heat flow and solute transport in these systems, including the effect of physical and chemical nonequilibrium conditions. The book includes examples of two-dimensional flow in fields, hillslopes, boreholes, and capillary fringes using HYDRUS (2D/3D). It demonstrates the use of two other software packages, RETC and STANMOD, that complement the HYDRUS series.

Hands-on use of the windows-based codes has proven extremely effective when learning the principles of water and solute movement, even for users with very little direct knowledge of soil physics and related disciplines and with limited mathematical expertise. Suitable for teaching an undergraduate or lower level graduate course in soil physics or vadose zone hydrology, the text can also be used for self-study on how to use the HYDRUS models.�With the information in this book,�you can run models for different scenarios and with different parameters, and�thus gain a better understanding of the physics of water flow and contaminant transport.

Great book for beginners in Hydrus

This is a great book for those beginning in Hydrus-1D and also Hydrus-3D. The book provides an introduction to soil physics and how the equations are solved in Hydrus and then provides a step-by step guide for how to use Hydrus. I also liked how you can follow the examples in the book and the explanation for why each of the parameters is set to a certain number. I have gone through most of the tutorials on the Hydrus website, however the one issue that eluded me was what to do with the outputs from RETC. I knew that I was supposed to use some output from RETC in Hydrus but I didn't know what or how to do it. The book shows what to look for in the output and how to apply the output from RETC to Hydrus, and then how to use the output of Hydrus in different simulations. A great book for beginners!

Better than the course

I (my employer actually) spent over $3000 (including hotel and per diem) to take the Hydrus 1D/2D/3D course; I could have gotten just as much information, actually more, from this book. Well worth the price. I'd recommend this book long before you take their 3-day course.
